May 29, 2009

Usually in order to make money you have to first put out money. However, many people are looking for ways to make money because they do not have any to waste in the first place. Besides with so many scams out there it can be scary to give your money away, and you don’t have to! There are some real legitimate ways to make money online without spending any!

Making money online used to pretty much require you to have your own Web site, products to sell and some marketing savvy. But a new generation of dot-coms have arisen that will pay you for what you know and who you know without you having to be a web designer or a marketing genius.

But it’s hard to tell hype from the real deal. I did a search on “make money online” and “making money online”, and much of the information out there is just promoting various info products, mostly about Internet marketing. I see why people sometimes ask, “Is anyone making money online besides Internet marketing experts?”

Here are some things you can do to make money online without spending any.

Blogging -

You do not have to have your own website to blog. You don’t even have to know the first thing about it, you can learn as you go on. You can join this site - https://www.blogger.com/start

It is free and you can create an account in less then five minutes. You can post affiliate links on your page to make money. Blogger does it all for you so you should check it out.

Create topical resource hubs.

Are you an expert on a particular niche topic? Can you put together an overview of the topic and assemble some of the best resources on the topic from around the web?

Then you can create topical hubs and get paid through sites like Squidoo, Hug Pages and Google Knol. Payments are based on a combination of ad revenue and affiliate fees. You’ll get higher rates doing it on your own, but these sites have a built-in supply of traffic and tools to make content creation easier.

Advertise products for other people

If you already have a Web site or a blog, look for vendors that offer related but non-competing products and see if they have an affiliate program. Stick to familiar products and brands - they’re easier to sell. To promote those products:

•Place simple text or graphical ads in appropriate places on your site

•Include links to purchase products you review or recommend in a blog, discussion forum or mailing list you control

•Create a dedicated sales page or Web site to promote a particular product

Write an article of blog post for different sites. Associated Content and Helium will pay for such activities based on the page views.

The content of the blogs and articles are the discretion of the writers, yet each place will specify the topics to be written.

There are also sites who are seeking part-time bloggers to add content to their sites. They will pay based on a post or it can be a steady arrangement with a contract.
