Some Way To Make A Slow PC Fast Again

June 25, 2009

When computers get slower with age, they become increasingly frustrating and annoying as they prevent you from being able to do everything from watching movies, to playing games to even doing your work. This is a big problem which affects almost every computer throughout the world, and is actually easily cured.

You see, all computers actually run in the same way, which means that they all suffer from the same cause of being slow. And that cause is a part of your PC called the registry. This is a giant database which sits at the center of Windows, and is where your computer stores all your settings and options for the programs on your computer. Everything from your desktop wallpaper to how much hard drive space you have left is all stored in this database.

The reason why it makes your computer run slower and slower is because of its importance. The registry database is constantly being used, which means that Windows has 100’s of registry files open every time you are on your computer. The problem with this is that often, Windows gets incredibly confused about these files and actually ends up making them corrupt or damaged. When this happens, it finds it harder to read the files, which slows it down.

Over time, your computer builds up more and more of these corrupt files and they just make your computer run slower and slower. They are like trying to make your computer read a book with all the pages mixed around… it just takes it a lot longer, which prevents it from being able to do any other things. This is the biggest reason why computers get slower with age, but there’s an easy solution.

To fix this problem, and to speed your computer up indefinitely again, you just need to be able to clean out all the corrupt and broken files that are slowing it down. To do this, you simply need to use a piece of software called a ‘registry cleaner’, which will actually scan through every file on your hard drive and remove all the ones that are running slow.

Got something to say?
